Try googling Goat packing in Boseman Montana (Tetons)and in Wash state. I've seen goats on the trail in both places. I saw a group on the PCT north of Snowqualimie in 2012.
On the CDT in 96 I saw a guy goat packing. We talked a bit. He actually thought I was Alice because he had seen her in exactly the same spot 3 years earlier on her thruhike of the trail. He used to take out climbers and their gear.

We are doing the thru hike on the PCT next year and we want to take a couple of goats with us. Anyone have advice on doing this...where to get some goats, previous experience doing it...things like that.
