Maybe the sunshine contributes to your bodies heat load, while after the sun
gets lower in the sky there's less of that. Also, maybe the humidity?
Might be something going on with your body that's unrelated to the
temperature and sun. Some other diurnal rhythm, food, drink....

Why is it that when I hike at 10 am (Florida) in 84° temps, that it kills
me and I have to stop several times. BUT, when I hike in 90° temp at 6pm,
I rip it up.
