Hi I-Beam,
I've been to Etna Summit many times. It's a beautiful over look and the town of Etna is amazing. The TH on the north side is very near the summit on the west side of the road. The TH on the south side comes into a sizable parking area from the east side of the road. The distance between the two TH's is about 100 - 200 feet where you must walk along the road. We left a vehicle there last summer with several others for a couple of days and no problem. If you have concerns you may want to check with the Hiker Hostel in town. They may be able to keep your car and drive you up to the summit TH. I don't know for sure if car sitting is part of their offerings. I understand that they are wonderful for a zero day and are very helpful. Hiking partner and I drive about 250 miles just to look over the summit, feel the breeze, and eat at one of the Etna eateries. I hope you find your visit there enjoyable.

When I went through there a couple of years ago, there was a parking lot at the trailhead. Don't know how secure it is though.

Does anyone have experience parking a vehicle for a few days at Etna Summit?
I can see from Goggle Maps that there are some places where the shoulder is
probably wide enough to park a vehicle, but I don't see any "trail head"
parking per se.
