The 2015 PCT bandanas have arrived, and they are COOL!

Gottago, Cupcake, and Yogi met while hiking the PCT in 2002.  When the 2003
hiking season rolled around, Gottago wanted to give a gift to the current
year thru-hikers.  She didn’t want it to be something that would get mailed
home.  The gift had to be lightweight, useful, and memorable.  Gottago
thought a bandana would be the perfect thru-hiking gift/souvenir!  Gottago
created the concept and pays for the bandanas, Yogi supplies the data, and
Cupcake designs the artwork.

The PCT bandana is a labor of love presented each year from the PCT Class
of 2002 (represented by Gottago, Cupcake, and Yogi). Bandanas are gifts to
current year thru-hikers, and may be picked up at the Kick Off, at the
Andersons (for nobos who did not go to the Kick Off), and at the Dinsmores
(for sobos).

2015 is the thirteenth year of the Class Bandanas, and they have always
been funded by Gottago. Yes, you read that right, Gottago pays for the
bandanas! Beginning in 2014, we offered the bandanas for sale through
Yogi’s Books.  Proceeds from bandana sales help cover the cost of the
bandanas which are gifted at the KO, Andersons, and Dinsmores (in other
words, proceeds do not stay with Yogi’s Books).
