I second this recommendation. Three of us stayed here last year. Not much
traffic on that road so hiked down there but staff gave us a ride next AM
back to trail near Sissors. Be sure to ask about this prior day. "Cabins"
are only about 10x10 with about a 3 ft wide padded bench on each side, but
are clean & have electrical outlets for charging stuff ... everything a
hiker needs. The swimming pool water will definitely cool you down ... way
down.

This place is a great bang for your buck. $8 to camp. $5 day use... showers
included. Washer $1.75, dryer $1.25. Free WiFi. Store remodeled with deli
and ice cream bar. Store stocked with approx. 200 food items, dozens of
cold drinks, some fresh vegetables and some frozen foods. Not much in
traditional hiker food, but great heavy/canned pit stop food. Power for
charging electronics. Many cabin choices and a swimming pool. No alcohol
sold on premise. No program yet to tender cash back for laundry, so bring
dough for laundry. Hiker satisfaction scale... a solid 8.
