[pct-l] Snow in the Sierra? ? ?

 There is no snow in the Sierra. From the summit of Mt. Tyndall it looks like late August out there. From that far distance, Forester looked snow free.

We ran into the back end of the Herd. One couple came out to resupply over Shepherd Pass. Rough way to go!

 A friend just came back from climbing Junction Peak. He reported just a small patch, 50', of snow going over Shepherd Pass. No need for axe or crampons.
