Hi Kathy

My GF and I both have the AG backpacks from Osprey. Great packs. The AG system wraps the pack around your body very comfortably and seems to distribute the weight comfortably and evenly. Volume wise is carries a ton of stuff. I’ve not carried my Bear Vault 500 but it does fit on a dry run test. We started the PCT this year and made it to mile 26 and got sick and had to return home. Then life happened and haven’t made it back to the trail Yet.

For us, the packs are comfortable, but at about 4 or so pounds, it’s a bit heavy for UL backpacking. We’re comfortable with them and plan to keep them around. Well worth considering.

Bud

Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone has field use of the Osprey Aura AG (anti
gravity) pack. I tried one on in store today and it seemed to carry very
well. In the store is WAY different than in the field though! Does
anyone here use one? What are your experiences? I currently have lots of
packs I am just looking for one that carries weight a bit nicer when I
have a FULL load and bear can. My ULA doesn't quite carry my bear can as
nicely as I like.

Would love to hear any experience others have had with the Osprey Aura AG.
Thanks!!!
Kathi
