Am considering hiking from Lake Morena up to Pine to Palms Highway in mid-Feb.  I've hiked Section A in April. I'm wondering about the likelihood of encountering rough weather in Feb. I remember hearing about a big storm (blizzard?) in early April near Mt Laguna a few years back, during which early thru-hikers hunkered down in an outhouse.  Was that just a freak year?  Any thoughts?
