I bet that an ultralightweight parade float could quite easily be built 
using only empty water cache jugs to be found at the road crossings....

Here's a little idea someone could run with...how about a Pacific crest Trail float in the Rose Parade? My biggest thrill would be watching the Egos fight to see who was going to ride on it.  Lol. Let me try and settle that now!  Raffle tickets!  We could always glued flowers on Meadow Ed  pulling him down the street on a  pair of  rollerskates like a pull toy or save money by seeding  him like a Chia pet ... lol    Happy new year   .
