Has anyone been between Hwy 58 and 178 lately?   Thinking of doing that section. But I don't know about the water. I've been out there before at this time of year and Golden Oak was like a slushy. That made me nervous about Blue Bird so I bailed. I hitched out with some DWP workers. Also what spring is still running past Jawbone Canyon that would get me to 178. I used to use MacIver. But I understand it no longer exists.
