I just spoke with the National Park Service near Glacier, WA and they
are saying the PCT is CLOSED from Rainy Pass north. I'm getting the
impression that the whole area from Newhalem to Twisp and north to the
border is closed. Here is the phone number that they want you to call
for any questions or reroute, closure info and fire updates.
