[pct-l] Your 2016 hike

Folks are beginning to think about and plan for a 2016 PCT hike.

If you are gullible, or are dreaming, the PCT is 2,650 miles of beautiful
mountains cut against an azure sky, in dappled shade with soft forest duff
underfoot.

There is plenty of that, but in order to get anywhere near there, buy a
silvered umbrella, and carry it or rig it to your pack.  It will be hot,
and a hat can often be a heat sink that shades your face, not optimal.
