[pct-l] Section D Poodle Dog Status?

Weesal here in Idyllwild taking a zero to dry out and wondering if any
hikers up ahead can report on the presence of Poodle Dog bush. Specifically
whether one can hike through it without contact and/or whether it's
overgrown the trail would be good to know. My partner is highly susceptible
and is considering skipping Section D altogether.
