Last year on my thru-hike I was able to pickup my resupply and snow gear 
at Kennedy Meadows General Store (South), sort through it, then package 
up food and gear I didn't need and mail them out to my son in San 
Francisco. I paid for the postage/shipping at the Kennedy Meadows 
General Store. I did not have any prepaid boxes or shipping containers, 
instead I just took one of my resupply boxes and used it to ship stuff 
from there to my son.
