[pct-l] Snow in North Cascades

To help remedy the dearth of messages on the list serv--A hiker from
Japan, "Wanderer", is on the PCT in the North Cascades now re-hiking
part of the trail he couldn't when he was thru hiking because of the
government shutdown of parks awhile back. He posted a pic on Facebook
of his tent in 3 1/2 inches of snow.  I'm glad I'm cozy at home......

Of course this will probably trigger another go at the recent
discussion of a proposed winter hike of the PCT.
