[pct-l] Winter hiking.

With a bit of precaution, you can hike the whole section south of Hwy
74, the Pines to Palms Hwy (about mile 150) without snow for most of
the winter.

However, occasionally storms come through and make the Laugna Mtns
very cold and windy and dangerous, and usually 2-3 weeks a year there
is snow on the ground.

As long as you a flexible, and willing to bail on a bad weather
report, you should have a great hike
