[pct-l] Down Sleep Bags

Down bags are great. They have a fairly wide comfort range, wider than synthetics. They are more expensive but will last longer.

Since your body produces moisture overnight, they do need to be dried in the sun (as do synthetics) on occasion. It is preferable to have one that has at least one dark side for this reason.

I am a restless sleeper and find that a quilt will not keep me covered so I can only use one in warm weather.

YMMV

Been thinking about getting a quilt
from Enlightened Equipment not sure what degree bag I should
get tho. Was thinking about the 10 degree bag @ 22.64 oz the
20 degree is about 6 oz less. I never had a down bag not
 sure how warm they are.
