[pct-l] Burney Falls State Park - USPS or UPS

Yes, the store manager needs to retire.  She's not what one might call a 'people person'.  That being said, the rest of the staff was very helpful, as long as she wasn't around.
I too want to put in a plug for the town of Burney.  We had an unplanned stop in Burney, needed to go there, even though we'd sent a box to the state park.  I cannot remember the names, but there are three motels in a row, all operated by the same people, which are VERY hiker friendly.  They've got a hiker box and have developed a list of local ride angels to get to/from the trail.
