Hi Sam,

If I were you I would contact Joe and Terry Anderson of Casa de Luna. They maintain two caches and host hikers and probably can give you a lot of info. They are also wonderful wonderful people, though they may be worn out from the herd.

Warmly,
River

I am planning to head north from Agua Dulce July 1. I am concerned with the
availability of water in sections E and F. Has anyone found any water in
canyons of fire tanks during early July in other drought years? I
understand specific sources vary from year to year but I'd like to hear if
people have generally had success. I imagine the water report is
significantly less reliable after the heard comes through, or is their
still a few people planning to hike through in late June? Does anyone know
for sure if any of the caches will be maintained? Also I probably don't
have the resources to cache water for myself. If anyone has any
experience, thoughts, ideas or is planning to maintain a cache I'd love to
hear from you.

Thanks
Sam
