[pct-l] Lite Weight Cookset

Read the instructions for the Jet Boil carefully. As an engineer I thought
I knew it all, so didn't bother the first time. The instructions
specifically say not to cook cream soups. I did. Once. I got distracted,
the water "bumped" making big steam bubbles at the bottom of the pot, which
meant that the heat was not carried away rapidly enough. Not only did the
soup burn (of course I ate it anyway), but the fins on the bottom of the
pot turned from Titanium to Titanium oxide, and I had to replace the pot 4
weeks later.

I also had a situation where the stove wouldn't thread into the fuel
bottles, and I could never figure out the root cause; there was no obvious
bunged threads, no junk in the threads, and no warping to be seen. So I
had to replace the stove 4.1 months in to the trip, and REI honored the
failure.

I used my Jet Boil 2 meals a day for all 5 months on the trail and loved
it. No fuss, no muss. When my support crew (family) met me at the trail,
I always had them bring at least 1 8oz fuel bottle. I only mailed once.
