Yes! :-) IMHO, the ability to make fire is possibly a question of survival. In the Sierra Nevada, spring, summer or fall, anything can happen.

Yeah, I know the odds are slim of ever really getting into that sort of survival situation, but it has happened.  It's not all unicorns and rainbows out there!
