[pct-l] Backing up pictures

I use my iPhone 4S for pics/video clips. I intend to carry a 100gb+ thumb drive to transfer images from my iPhone & free up its memory. Will need access every 1-2 weeks to a PC with 2 USB ports to accomplish the transfer. Will probably send a thumb drive "home" periodically. My phone can not use SS cards.
Will there be PCs available frequently enough along the trail?

USPS processing equipment can cause the paper envelope to tear, which allows the SD card to slip out. Spring for another 35 cents and get a padded or reinforced mailing envelope.

That way, if the card gets lost in the mail, I still have the photos. If I had listened to The Bag Lady sooner, my Campo-to-Idyllwild pics would not be lost forever.
