[pct-l] Chrome dome

Yes, the umbrella-carriers are certainly true believers. But while I
haven't really been following this thread, I do feel the need to weigh in
and say that we made it almost all the way (Campo to past Trout Lake, where
we had to get off the trail due to weather) without umbrellas and never
missed or regretted not having them. A good, wide-brimmed hat weighs less
than and is easier to carry than an umbrella.

Not trying to start a debate or suggesting umbrellas aren't a good thing.
Just saying we didn't have them ... and didn't miss them.
