The trail angels all operate under different rules for their guests, so 
check out their web sites, Yogi's PCT handbook, or ask other hikers from 
previous years for those rules. Almost all angels need some donations to 
help with providing their services. Err on the generous side, because the 
few that don't need or require the donations are few and far between the 
others and will simply give your donation to the PCTA.  When in doubt, just 
donate. It all goes to a very, very good cause.
