[pct-l] PCT Long Distance Permit request for 2014 is available now

Thank you Jim,

I just sent my application in for a thru permit for 2014, to the PCTA. 
One regret (con)- there wasn’t a function to apply for any other hikers to join in on one’s party summiting Mt Whitney, from the eastern side (as in the past). 
I guess that isn’t so bad in hindsight. 
It makes it an individual responsibility. 
Cool beans.
