[pct-l] Pct-L Digest, Vol 84, Issue 15

What is the purpose for the PCT-L list-serve ?? When I started reading and
posting I came here to learn about the trail and answers to trail
questions. It is an important forum but I will admit that there are a few
"authors" that I immediately delete the post without reading when the
notice hits my email. I'm not here to read "funny" stories with hiker
inference inserted. I also don't care to have to read the rude banter back
and forth when there are opposing opinions. New hikers come here to learn
and get their questions answered. Hopefully not to read rude jokes aimed at
the hiker community. Hikers are not dogs......67% of the ones this year had
Masters college degrees. Just my opinion.
