I just found http://www.sunrisesunset.com  This enables a hiker to produce a one-month calendar for any particular location.  You can select sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset, twilight and length of day.  You can set up pretty much the whole trail in 5 months if you select San Diego for May, Mojave for June, Tuolumne Meadows for July, Dunsmuir for August and Cascade Locks for September.  Town folks can print them, hikers can view them on their smart phones.  Hike on !!  BR
