I saw no-one out of control in the two days I was there. They were exhausted, spent, thirsty, dehydrated, blistered, hungry, and quietly resting til the sun started cooling down to travel on in the evening. The had a sun exposed high hill to climb before they could stop for dinner and sleep.

Precisely, Luis. It's just as I used to tell my elementary art students: You either show self control, or someone else will have to control you. When it affects other people, being out of control is not an option.
