[pct-l] Early snow melt

Hay all

Sooooo, like most of you, I can not wait to get out there this summer. 
I will be hiking north out of the Desolation Wilderness area near Lake 
Tahoe.  The snow will not melt soon enough for me.  Does anyone know of 
an area where I can hike north of there, where the snow may melt sooner 
allowing me to flip-flop early in the season?
