Just to clarify the question of the whitewater closure (and maybe it's been
posted but I just didn't get it), here's a quote from the Wildlands
Conservancy website:
*UPDATE 4/14/14: Whitewater Preserve is now open daily for visitation and
hiking access from 8 am to 5 pm. A closure is scheduled for Thursday, April
17th to complete final maintenance projects. After the 17th the preserve
will remain open.Thank you for your patience while work to steward the
preserve.*
