Hi gang,
Trouble is back in town from another extended skiing expedition in the
Sierra.
The girls are dancing in the street and the guys are "gnashing" their
teeth.

My prayers have came true!!!
Two weeks ago I was praying for snow and guess what?
Since then Mammoth Mountain got 50" of new powder and more is forecast.
So you see, winter in the Sierra "ai'nt" over yet and it is not unusual
for April
to be a heavy snow month for the Sierra....so don't send your crampons home
just yet.

The current base at Mammoth is 60" at 9,000'.....75" at 10,000'.....90"
at 11,000'.

This of course is good news for "Snow Bums" like me, but "Bad News" for
"Hiker Trash" like you.
