> Finishing your thru-hike this month? A dedicated trail maintainer or someone that's allways wanted to lend a hand? New to Nor Cal and want to see what we've got to offer? If you've got backcountry experience we need your help.

> We, right now, are in the final push to finish logging out the entire PCT in our region. We've logged out 125 miles in the Tahoe, Plumas, Lassen, and Shasta-Trinity N.F.'s In all, we've cut some 4-500 trees this year. All that remains is the section in the Feather River District of Plumas National Forest. We'd like to log out the final 25 miles and some 140+ trees that remain on the trail.

> Send me an email to give me your email address and I'll add it to the list of possible volunteers for the fall. If you have availability, I can design a trip around your help. I may keep the maintenance up till into Oct. if I have to. Contact me today and read an article in the Communicator about our log out program in the next issue.
