[pct-l] RE Mtn Lions

In Oregon on the PCT in 2004, I had a mountain lion outside of my tent roaring at me for 45 minutes. It was very good at making scary sounds. 

I speculated later that I was camped on the boundary of his territory, which I understand they patrol and re-mark. Perhaps I had even peed on his tree? 

I was happy to be under my TarpTent, as I speculate that he was more intimidated by it than he would have been if I were cowboy camping.
