[pct-l] Paying for SAR Brick,
You have this all backwards.
Not all poor people are lazy.
I used to be poor, but never lazy.
I always used to hold down 2 jobs, one full time, another evening part time.
When I went to college on the GI Bill I would carry 18 units every semester
(more than a full load) and have a part time job.
If I was lazy I never would have gone for the JMT Record.

You and some members on the list may consider the GI Bill a liberal or
commie give away.
However, while I was earning $128 a month getting my ass shot at you
probably were earning 10X as much and drinking beer watching us
getting our ass's shot at on TV.

I am a firm believer in self reliance and that people take
responsibility for
their actions and negligence and their own destiny and well being instead
of relying on the government for everything..

I am also a firm believer that the government should take care or assist
those who can not take care of themselves, but not those who are to lazy
to take care of themselves.

That is not un-american that "IS AMERICAN".

Your "ALL AMERICAN" trail companion

<sarcasm>So we reward the lazy poor people by having the government
pay for them?
While we punish the responsible people who have earned enough to pay
for the rescue?
That sounds Communist/Liberal/Fascist or something un-american to me.

Anyway, don't feed the strays, they will just breed
