Another predictable circle jerk on this topic.

The truth is, every day I get a report from Facebook of more people  
finishing the trail. Some of them got off and bought snow shoes. Some  
just wallowed through the snow. Seems more people are finishing than  
being rescued. And those that were rescued didn't actually call for  
the chopper themselves, at least I haven't yet heard of any who did.  
They had plans and were executing them.
