adventure cycling has a continental divide route for mountain bikes. it does not interfere with the cdt it runs ftrom Montana/Canada border tomexican border in NM. this is an ENVIRONMENTAL organization..if you want to bike(and it's their toughest trip of many cross country routes) the continental divide this is the way to go. contact them, they are a wonderful organization based in Missoula, mt.
