[pct-l] Advice for planning expenses

HI
I´m a Norwegian student planning a through hike next year. 
Since I´m not very experinced with the american economy, I would 
need some tips on how to plan my expenses. 
Like, 
Food - how much money would a hiker spend on food per week?
Mailing supplies, fuel etc...

I guess the costs varies alot from hiker to hiker, but if anyone has
some advices, I´ll be super happy!
