Quackers-

After reading the restrictions, I was hesitant to pack my poles.  I took a flight from Portland to Medford, OR and simply collapsed them and securely strapped them to the pack.   Against my gut-feeling, I checked my pack. No one questioned the poles.   I had no baggage issues.

However, this could have been a different issue had I brought my bag on board the plane.

For what it's worth.

I know that TSA has recently relaxed some of their carry-on restrictions.
Does anyone know if you can take collapsed trekking poles in your bag?

Thanks in advance.
