[pct-l] Lake Isabella/Onyx to Walker Pass transport?

Hi, All!  I plan to start my long section hike from Walker Pass, CA (to
Cascade Locks) on June 12th.  I'm flying into L.A., bussing to Bakersfield,
then bussing to Lake Isabella on the 11th.  I can bus to Onyx on the 12th
and attempt a hitch hike to the trail crossing unless anyone is aware of
any other options or of a potential ride that I can request of someone(s)
in the area.  ??
