Lat year there was trail magic at the Mckenzie TH.  Unbelievable hospitality.  They were providing rrides to/from Sisters.  The dropoff was a motel (Sisters INN)just South of the huge grocery store( Ray's).  Sweet hiker box at the motel.   Rate was cheap for hikers.  +/- $7 0?? 

  

There is also an organic food store in town that caters to hikers.  I believe it is located on the resupply lis (link attached).    http://www.planyourhike.com/planning/resupplypoints.php 



It appears I may be  behind you as I am starting July 15th from Ashland.  Be safe and enjoy.

If you don't find a ride you could just hitchhike.  I've hitched from 
Santiam pass to Sisters and back and the longest wait was less than 5 
minutes.  McKenzie Pass only has a small fraction of the Santiam Pass 
traffic.  Good Luck and good hike!

Trying to get into Sisters Wilderness from Portland in Mid-late July, 
unfortunately public transportation ends too soon. I need to find a ride 
from Bend or Sisters to the PCT trail head at McKenzie or Santiam pass. 
Anyone have ideas on who I could contact/folks living in that area? 
Can/will compensate.
