I received this response from Benn at Manning Park. Here is the answer to having a car parked and waiting in Manning Park. Carol

The centennial trail from Cathedral to Manning Park hooks up with Monument 83 trail which leads to a parking area a few KM east of Manning Park Lodge. Your best bet would be to have the car parked at the trailhead if you don't want to walk a few KM along hwy #3 to get to the resort. The trailhead is no a secure parking facility, but does have regular security checks through out the summer. Let parks staff know the dates ahead of time that it will be parked there and there should be no problem. I think the sign at the lot entrance is "Mon 78 Mon 83, Boyds Medow" and is easy to find.
Thanks!
