[pct-l] Question about Yosemite side trip

The JMT joins the PCT 0.5 miles south of the Tuolumne Meadows Lodge.  
>From there is it 18 miles along the JMT to the junction with the Half Dome Trail,  Then it is 2 miles to the top.

They nation Park Service is always impelmenting new rules for the hike up Half Dome.
This year I think they have a daily quota of xxx?, and there may be walk-ins, first come first serve on each day.
You should check the NPS websit for Yosemite for this years quotas and the dates they are in effect.
