[pct-l] iPhone Mapping App

I use BackCountyNavigator (which I find excellent) on my Android phone but
am finding the phone itself totally unreliable (needs a restart most days -
but it often crashes on it's own without me even needing to restart it).
 Out today and recording my track (with BCN) the phone just spontaneously
crashed and re-booted itself (the phone). And this is getting to be a
nuisance (not from a navigation perspective but just for using it as a
phone).

But I do like the back country (i.e. non-road, non-turn by turn navigation)
and, having seen quite a few posts here signed "sent from my iPhone", I was
wondering what people use on their iPhones for BackCountry Navigator
equivalent - as I might be changing soon and I am questioning Android and
might get better robustness from an iPhone.
