[pct-l] Lightweight pack with straps set wider apart

I think ULA developed the "J" strap for this purpose?

Also, I have compressed and herniated vertebral discs so I like to rest all
the weight of the pack on my hip belt so my pelvis carries the weight,
instead of my shoulders. To achieve this I make sure I get a slightly
longer torso length pack so the shoulder straps start just a little bit
above my shoulders, (just a little bit, not completely obvious) I'm 5'8"
so I make sure I buy a pack sized for a 5'10" to 6' man. My shoulders and
spine hike free and easy!!!! Of course, I need an ultra-light pack with an
extra beefy hip belt (...and ultra light packs just love to tone down or
get rid of the hip belt entirely, sigh...). I just bought a ULA Ohm II
that features the extra beefy hip belt so I'll give it a try this season.
