[pct-l] Oregon Section Permit

Beeman,

I would tweak your trip starting point and ending point to fall within the rules for what the PCTA will grant a permit for.  Honestly, that's a lot easier than trying to contact every forest, wilderness area, and park in Oregon inquiring about permits.

And remember, there's no penalty for getting off the trail before your permit says you've arrived at your ending point.  You just get off the trail and go home.  "They" won't come for you.

Planning to hike Oregon section starting July 22nd.  This section covers
less than the 500 mile PCTA permit requirement. Is there a process to
obtain the necessary permits to hike this section?

Thanks for any input.
