Hi Snake Charmer, 
I really don't think Dicentra was trying to call you out about being able to complete the PCT, or not.  How I read her post, is as a positive "you can do this and don't give up" type of an encouragement for you and, all of us in general. 
Regardless of doing the entire trail in one shot, or not, I think Dicentra's heart and thoughts are in the right place.
