[pct-l] Impact of WILD on PCT numbers

Think you'll see more people ATTEMPT the trail, but the overall finishers may only be a littler higher from previous levels.

Unlike the AT and the "Bryson Bump", the PCT is more remote and a lot more difficult to learn the ins-and-outs
of backpacking along the way .  Not as many towns to bail into, outfitters to switch out gear and so on.


Having said that, the stretches from the border to Agua Dulce and from AD to Kennedy Meadows may have more impact on resources
overall.

Never underestimate the power of an Oprah benediction. :)
