[pct-l] Impact of WILD on PCT numbers

I'm inclined to agree that the book will get a whole lot more people
intrigued with the trail, and eventually on it.  As individuals I wish
everyone who tries it well, but I'm just selfishly concerned with the impact
that's going to have, as the annual numbers creep or rocket up.  Guess we'll
see.

I've read this book last year and one month later I was on PCT trail by
myself hiking my first section. Considering the fact that I did only two
backpacking trips prior to that, and with friends - I say, if you want that
final push, this book can be just that Nina P.S. this year I'm going to do
JMT :)
