I just wanted to send a response to all who took the time to send some really thoughtful emails back to me. There are so many of you, just too many to reply to individually - so thank you!! I am taking all of this into account and you all have contributed to my hike this spring. Wish me luck, I am hoping things work out for the best. I love my man, and I do plan to marry him. He is not the jealous type and he is a hiker and supports me - just is focused on other things. I am graduating college right before I leave which has a great deal to do with why I am doing this - finally freedom!! He has been out of school for quite some time and is saving for retirement (we're only 25 - weird I know, but hey at least I have a smart man). Well I am really excited to get on the trail, your emails have got me amped!!
