Hello Everyone,
This year will be my first attempt at thru-hiking the PCT. I'm a project
manager, am very detailed, and love spreadsheets...what can I say :) I'd
like to put a preliminary plan in a google spreadsheet so I can share it
live with my friends and family and I do plan on updating it occasionally
from the trail so my family can follow my journey.
In this document I plan on putting the re-supply points, planned distance
covered vs actual, water stops (as necessary), a few hotel options, etc. I
have seen the many websites that have this information, and I do have
Yogi's books and laminated cards to show re-supply points. However I
really do want to also get this into a live online document that I can
update periodically.
If any of you have already built something like this would you mind sharing
it with me? I'm doing a lot of copy and pasting from website to my doc and
thought I should reach out to see if someone already has done this. I
don't want to re-create the wheel if I don't have to.
Cheers,
Melissa (no trail name yet)
